Mom and Dad

While Jack Michael was waited on hand and foot by his admiring grandparents, mom and dad got away for a little getaway to Gatlinburg, TN. We went white water rafting and hiking through the gorgeous Smokey Mountains. We even saw a black bear. If I showed you the picture you wouldn't believe me because it looks like a black dot. But I promise we did.

We ate at this amazing bed and breakfast located in Bryson City, NC. It had fantastic home cooked food. It was a great start to our mini-vacation.

Hiking to Rainbow Falls.

We went to Cades Cove which is a park you drive around. Here is where we saw the black bears. This is a view from our car.

O.K. so I talked about a corn dog for the entire trip. Finally, minutes before we left town, I got one. Yippee!

Got Crabs?

While in Branson, MO to celebrate a family reunion, some of us got away for a while to get some crabs at Joe's Crab Shack. Man were they good!!!!!

I'm a Travelin' Man

We have travelled over 1700 miles, totalling up driving time of at least 22 hours in the last three weeks and our little man was an absolute pro! We love ya man!!!!!!!

Good Night, Sleep Tight...

Need I say more!

Jack has made a new friend!!!!

Jack Michael has a new friend. His name is Tracker. Lovey (AKA my mom) gave it to him to snuggle with. Despite my best efforts for Jack Michael to ONLY have monkeys, daddy is excited about a new animal face in the house!!!!

So what have we been up to...

After my long hiatus from blogging, I have decided to finally come back to join my friends. The last three months have been anything but easy, but I have to say that I have come out of it a much stronger person. Josh and I were blessed with sweet Jack Michael on March 11th and as you can see from the main picture, he is absolutely adorable. As bias as I may be, I do think he is quite beautiful. I thought I would come back to blogging by sharing with you all some pictures of our precious baby from the last three months!!!!

1st picture of father and son. And yes, Josh is still this happy. He is absolutely smitten with Jack. It is so precious to watch them together!!!

Jack Michael had to be in an incubator when he was first born. He was so tiny, the pacifier was almost the size of his head.

Lovey, AKA my mom, came over to give Jack his first bath. He loved it!!! Bath time continues to be one of his favorite times.

O.K. so don't think that Josh and I are cruel, but when you are a baby all bets are off when a parent thinks it is a picture moment. We put Jack Michael in a bowl to see if he would fit. And he did!!!!

This is one of the latest pictures of Jack. As you can see he has grown ALOT! He has just begun to laugh and smile, which to be honest, just melts my heart.
